Preventive Medicine aims to provide an introduction of the fundamental knowledge and basic skills of preventive medicine suitable for the undergraduate medical students major in non-preventive medicine. It is expected that after finishing the course study, students are able: to understand basic knowledge of preventive medicine and health system, and to master essential skills to practice preventive services, find some causes of population health at clinical settings and to advocate public health at communities.

Preventive Medicine introduces and explains to the students the concepts of ecological health model, strategies and skills of three levels of prevention.
